No separate Gym Jotter account to delete
Gym Jotter does not currently use a separate account system, so there is no standalone Gym Jotter profile to close. A Gym Jotter Pro subscription belongs to your Apple Account: cancel it in the Settings app (your name → Subscriptions).
Deleting workout content in the app
The app includes deletion actions for workout content such as groups, exercises, and logged sets. When you use those controls, the selected content is removed from the app's active data set.
Deleting AI Trainer data
If you have used the AI Trainer, you can manage that data in the app:
- Clear your full conversation history using the option in the Trainer settings. This removes all messages from the device and, if iCloud Sync is enabled, from iCloud.
- Edit or remove individual entries from your Trainer profile at any time.
Clearing your conversation history does not retroactively remove data already sent to the Gemini API for processing. Under Google's API terms, that data is not retained by Google for model training.
Deleting shared links
Open Settings → Shared Links in Gym Jotter on the device that created the link and revoke it. Revocation removes the active hosted content and prevents new retrievals. Links also expire automatically after 30 days, with expired content removed by daily cleanup. Minimal metadata is retained for up to 90 days after expiry to identify old links and prevent duplicate publishing requests. Cloudflare may retain infrastructure backups according to its retention settings.
Removing an exercise or uninstalling Gym Jotter does not revoke its existing links. Saved recipient copies and files sent outside the link service cannot be recalled. If you lose the device’s management credential or need to report content, contact [email protected] with the link and a description of your request. Do not send the link’s management credential.
Link import videos
Videos you add to a link import are deleted when Jot finishes reading them or when you cancel; any upload left behind is deleted by Google after 48 hours. Routines you save from an import are ordinary routines: delete them in the app.
Local device data
Workout data is stored locally on the device by default. Removing data in the app affects that local copy. If you remove the app from your device, the local app container on that device may also be removed by the operating system.
Optional iCloud Sync behavior
If iCloud Sync is enabled, Gym Jotter may also store synchronized copies of workout content in your iCloud account. Turning off iCloud Sync in the app currently stops ongoing syncing, but data already stored in iCloud is not automatically deleted just because sync was turned off.
Full removal requests
If you want help understanding the deletion options available for your situation, email [email protected]. Include:
- Whether iCloud Sync was enabled.
- Which device or devices were used.
- What you want removed: local data, synced data, or both.
- Any screenshots that show the current sync state.
Support mailbox records
If you email a deletion request, Gym Jotter may keep the email thread for as long as reasonably necessary to confirm the request, respond to you, and maintain support records.
Future changes
If Gym Jotter later adds broader in-app deletion tools or changes its sync architecture, this page will need to change too.
